Review: 5 ravens!!!
This story was so refreshing and different! Soulful and well written with love of life and music.
I loved the style used with the song play list at the beginning of chapters as you read along. I could hear the song playing in the background (in my mind) as I read along. This story was very creative and a fresh of breath air among the vampire stories of today. A youthful tug of war with love and set in paradise. Nothing more important in life than fire and rain in this gripping tale. Finding what is right and what is normal is far beyond what one young man can reach. In love with the sweet and safe Sam AND with the Dangerous, mysterious Asia. You find yourself rooting for both as the story goes. I found myself being pissed at the main character at times for being....such a dude.. lol. Love, Rage, Fire, Rain, Sweetness, Despair, Reborn, Undying, Devoted and discovery is just a few things to describe this story. I loved it and can't wait to read more. A very different look into YA writing. Greatly enjoyed and highly recommend.
